حوار انجليزي عن الرياضة Ahmed: Where are you going Javaid? I have come to your house so that we could study together Javaid: I am sorry Ahmed. I am now going to play tennis. I’ll be back in an hour. Would you pleas come back after an hour Ahmed: It is very strange, the examination are falling in next month and instead of studying you are going to play tennis. Javaid: I have never missed playing tennis in the evening. I play tennis in the evening even during the days of examination. Ahmed: But sport is not important than education. Javaid: When did I say sports are important than education? Ahmed: The way you play tennis even during the days of examinations shows that you do not consider education important than sports. Javaid: It is only your misconception, I never thought that sports are more important than education. Ahmed: I think sports are of no use in passing an examination. Javaid: No, my friend you are wrong. Sports are just as useful as studies can be. One should not turn into a bookworm. Ahmed: I don’t think that studies make a person a bookworm. Javaid: Sports make our bodies strong and it is famous proverb that strong body keeps a strong brain. Ahmed: I haven’t seen any sports man who is a scholar too. Javaid: You are talking about professional sportsman. There is a great difference between an amateur sports man and a professional sportsman. Ahmed: I don’t see any difference. All such people prefer sports to all other things. Javaid: If a boy has decided to become professional sports man. It is natural for him to give much time to sports. But all boys don’t decide from the very beginning to become a professional sports man. We play games to remain physically fit. Ahmed: In our young age we are physically fit then why bother about games. Moreover, what good is any game to us in service or business. Javaid: Besides giving us a good health every game teaches us discipline and obedience. These qualities make us prominent in every walk of life. Ahmed: But Javaid, after games we get tried and cannot pay much attention to our studies. Javaid: It is wrong to say games produce fatigue. Games exercise our limbs and refresh us. We can study more vigorously if we play games. Ahmad: I think sports are only waste of time. Javaid: I don’t want to hurt you, but honestly tell me were my overall marks in the intermediate examination not better than yours? Ahmad: I think you are quite right. I often marvel that I remain busy in study and still your marks are always better than my marks in every test. I think I too should start some kind of sports.
